Because most of our products are digital downloads, we maintain a strict and transparent return policy to protect both our customers and our intellectual property.
1️⃣ General Terms
By purchasing from LearnZA.co.za, you agree to this Return & Refund Policy.
This policy applies to all products — digital and physical — purchased directly through our website or official LearnZA channels.
LearnZA operates in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
2️⃣ Digital Products (E-Books, PDFs, Online Downloads)
❌ No Returns or Refunds After Download
Once a digital product has been purchased and downloaded, it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged under any circumstances.
This is due to the irreversible nature of digital content — once accessed, it cannot be “unseen” or revoked.
✅ Refunds Allowed Only If:
A refund or replacement will only be issued if:
- You were charged twice for the same product (duplicate payment).
- You received a corrupted or unreadable file, and we are unable to replace it.
- A technical error on our website or payment system caused a failed or incorrect transaction.
In these rare cases, please contact books@learnza.co.za within 3 days of purchase.
We will verify the issue and process a refund or replacement within 7 business days if valid.
3️⃣ Printed Books (Physical Deliveries)
✅ Eligible for Return Only If:
Printed or shipped books are returnable only if they are:
- Damaged during delivery,
- Incorrect item shipped, or
- Defective from printing or binding.
You must notify us via email at books@learnza.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order.
Please include:
- Your order number,
- Clear photos of the damage or error, and
- A short description of the problem.
If approved, we will offer:
- A replacement copy, or
- A full refund to your original payment method.
Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and sent back via a courier approved by LearnZA.
4️⃣ Non-Returnable Items
For clarity, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Downloaded or accessed digital files (PDFs, e-books, study materials).
- Products purchased through third-party resellers or platforms.
- Discounted or promotional items marked “Final Sale.”
- Books or materials that show signs of use, copying, or modification.
- Orders reported after 7 days of delivery.
5️⃣ Incorrect Email or Address Information
LearnZA is not responsible for products lost or undelivered due to incorrect email addresses or shipping information entered at checkout.
Please double-check all details before completing your purchase.
If an error occurs, contact books@learnza.co.za immediately — we’ll assist where possible, but replacements are not guaranteed.
6️⃣ Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days using the same payment method used for purchase (e.g., PayFast, PayPal, or Yoco).
Refund times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
LearnZA will notify you via email once your refund has been completed.
7️⃣ Delivery Delays
Delivery delays caused by couriers, strikes, or force majeure events are outside our control.
We will assist in tracking your parcel, but such delays do not qualify for refunds.
8️⃣ Product Updates and Revisions
LearnZA continuously improves its books and digital materials.
Purchasing an earlier version of a product does not entitle the buyer to free future updates or newer editions, unless clearly stated at the time of purchase.
